Collection Wash and Care

To best preserve your collection, follow these guidelines: 

Apparel: Machine wash inside out on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Hang dry for maximum print longevity. Do not iron directly over the printed artwork.

Canvas Totes, Caps: Spot clean only with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine dry. For the totes, if a full wash is absolutely necessary, hand wash cold and hang dry to prevent the natural canvas shrinkage and wrinkling. 

Returns, Exchanges or Cancellations 

Due to the nature of our made-to-order print model, we carry no physical warehouse inventory and cannot facilitate traditional exchanges. We do not accept standard returns, exchanges or cancellations for buyer's remorse or personalization errors. 

If there is a rare transit defect or transit damage to your artifact, contact us within seven (7) days with a clear photograph documenting the issue so we can expedite a priority reprint with our production facility. 

For apparel, review our size guide measurements before checkout and payment. If an incorrect size was selected or ordered, to protect you from losing your full investment, we do offer a Subsidized Replacement Program: Contact us within seven (7) days of delivery. Pay a flat processing fee to cover manufacture and shipping a brand-new size to you. The incorrect size does not need to be shipped back.

Personalized Editions  

Custom editions are tailored specifically to your specifications with unique coordinates, dates or names. They are permanently exempt from returns, cancellations or exchanges. All sales of these editions are final.

Once an order is sent, our team begins the manual typographic layout and file preparation for production. To ensure your custom artifact is flawless, double-check spelling of all names, dates, or coordinates entered are exactly how you want them printed, before checking out and payment.

Fulfillment and Shipping Transit  

Each piece is printed to order to ensure zero fabric or garment waste. 

Fulfillment/Processing: Allow 2-8 business days to prepare your files and for the production facility to print the piece. For custom/personalized editions, processing may take an extra 48 hours for manual typographic layout. 

Transit: Once printed, standard shipping typically takes:

• 3-6 business days domestic within USA.

• 3-7 business days domestic within Canada.

• 5-20 business days on all international transits (including USA-Canada crossings).

You will receive an automated tracking number the exact moment your artifact leaves the facility so you can follow its transit.

International Dispatches and Customs

Artifacts crossing international borders may be subject to import duties, local taxes and custom clearance fees imposed by the destination country. 

As the importer of record, the recipient is strictly responsible for these compliance fees. We are not able to predict, alter or subsidize these localized government tariffs. Parcels rejected due to customs fee avoidance does not qualify for returns or refunds.

Gift Messages, Wrapping or Receipts

Our archives are dispatched direct from our production facility to optimize shipping speeds. We are not able to offer custom wrapping or handwritten notes inside the package at this time. 

Website Shop: Our setup platform provides the digital receipt to the buyer and thus the gift recipient will not see this directly. Our production facility packs the item(s) with no pricing information on the manifest. Special gift messages are not available during the checkout process but can be added afterwards. Immediately after purchase, send us your order number, gift message and we can add it before print. Email us at hello@mioakpress.ca  

Etsy Shop: Mark the item as a gift at checkout, add your message and this will be printed automatically on the manifest.
